Burglary / Parcel thefts from residential areas.

PCSO Paul was busy over the weekend visiting a number of buildings on the ward including City Walk, Maltby Street and Grange Road due to parcels being stolen from residential buildings. In September parcel deliveries have been the main target of burglars. Mainly through tailgating and buzzing residents to gain entry; there has been reports of someone using a key fob to some buildings which should be changed as soon as possible by landlords if that is the case. I have been advising residents and seeking out footage and ask that anyone with door camera footage, stills and other photographic images share with us your local police team so we can attempt to target these individuals whom brazenly enter buildings and steal from residents. If you see anyone trespassing in your building with the belief of criminal intent please call 999 at the time if safe to do so.
